<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a super resolution image with a high image quality even for an image containing a space-time low correlation composition. <P>SOLUTION: A space-time low correlation image super resolution apparatus 10 comprises: a space frequency decomposition part 11 which performs multiple resolution analysis of a space-time low correlation image to generate a high-frequency composition image of the space-time low correlation image; a phase adjustment part 12 which detects a pixel position where a pixel value of the high frequency composition image becomes negative, and adjusts a phase of the space-time low correlation image by replacing an element at a tap position where a multiple resolution analysis filter is to be applied, with respect to a pixel at the same pixel position as the detected pixel position; and a frequency component reconstitution part 13 which performs super resolution processing using the space-time low correlation image and the space-time low correlation image having undergone the phase adjustment, thereby generating the super resolution image of the space-time low correlation image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
