PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of allowing electronic equipment to recognize the format of a sheet.SOLUTION: A paper medium 100 is like a booklet binding a pair of covers 110R, 110L and a plurality of pieces of sheets 120. A tag part 130 is disposed on the cover 110R. A part of the tag part 130 is a protrusion 133 in which an identification mark 140 capable of optically reading the type of a notebook is disposed. When the tag part 130 is folded back, the identification mark 140 disposed in the protrusion 133 is arranged outside the contour of the cover 110R. A reading device is able to read the type of the notebook from the identification mark 140 arranged outside the contour of the cover 110R. |
