According to the present invention, disclosed are a foldable display device displaying a stored image by folding or unfolding operations and a control method for the same. According to the present invention, the foldable display device comprises a display unit including a first display area spatially or visually separated by the folding or unfolding operations of a foldable housing. The stored image is displayed on the first display area when a status is changed from a status wherein the first display area facing a second direction (e.g. a user direction) to a status wherein the first display area facing a first direction (e.g. a third person direction). Thus, the third person can easily see the stored image displayed on the first display area. |
