<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce running cost and improve productivity by reducing the amount of wasteful ink consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An air detection number counter 101 counts the number of times of air detection that detects mixture of air into a sub ink tank by an air detection means.
