The present invention relates to a temperature sensing device for a switching device. The temperature sensing device for a switching device efficiently solves a problem of processing a signal for insulation transmission between a controller, which is a low voltmeter, and an IGBT module, which is a high voltmeter; and improves accuracy of sensing a temperature by IGBT temperature sensing of a diode type which uses a diode mounted on an IGBT as a switching device. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, the temperature sensing device for the switching device comprises: a sensing device to sense a temperature of the switching device; a signal conversion unit receiving a voltage on both ends of the sensing device, which is a temperature sensing value when a current flows in the sensing device, and outputting a digital signal having a frequency in accordance with the voltage on both ends of the sensing device in a frequency varying method changing an analog signal level into a digital signal frequency; an insulation transmission unit connected to an output end of a conversion device, insulating and transmitting the digital signal outputted from the conversion device; and an MICOM recognizing a temperature from the digital signal frequency transmitted through the insulation transmission unit. |
