Disclosed is a pivotal fitting, especially for furniture, comprising a first cover plate (11; 111) and a second cover plate (8; 108) which is disposed to as to be pivotable relative to the first cover plate (11; 111). The two cover plates are interconnected via a ratchet mechanism (12, 19; 112, 172) and can be locked in different angular positions, the ratchet mechanism (12, 19; 112, 172) allowing locking in opposite directions, thus significantly increasing the functional range of the pivotal fitting. |
