A pop-up greetings card comprising a main pocket 10, a pop-up panel 14 operative to move from a first position contained within the pocket to a second position outside it, a sound module 20 to play back an audio file, a manual mechanism operative to move the panel from the first to the second position and activate either a motor 77 attached to a mobile object 74, or at least one LED 108 visible through a transparent window 107 on the front of the card. Preferably the manual mechanism comprises a button 12 or crank 82, 102 to activate it and springs 28, 56, 78, 90 to drive the panel out. In one embodiment the card launches confetti, and in another the card mimics a slot machine 500 with a crank and LEDs and ejects a gift card 111. |
