According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a touch input device capable of detecting pressure of a touch on a touch surface. The touch input device includes a substrate and a display module. A reference potential layer is positioned inside the display module, and an electrode disposed at a position where a distance from the reference potential layer can be changed in accordance with the touch on the touch surface is further included. The distance can be changed in accordance with a size of the pressure of the touch, and the electrode can output an electric signal in accordance with the change in the distance. |
