The present invention relates to an environmental friendly humidity indicating agent and a kit using the same. The humidity indicating agent comprises: 0.05-3 wt% of a main indicator composed of any one of methyl blue, aniline blue, methyl violet, ethyl violet, malachite green, bromophenol blue, bromocresol green, bromothymol blue, thymol blue, and thymol phthalein which are discolored in accordance with a change in pH; 30-60 wt% of a solvent composed of at least one of water, methanol and ethanol; 10-40 wt% of a pH regulator composed of acetic acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid, potassium carbonate, potassium cyanate, potassium hydroxide, magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, sodium acetate, sodium benzoate, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, and two or more mixture among standard buffer solutions; 1-30 wt% of a hygroscopicity regulator composed of at least one of glycerol, polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol; and 1-5 wt% of a stabilizer composed of a mixture of one or two of polysorbate, DC-200F of Dow Corning, and KF-96 of Shin-Etsu. The humidity indicator is discolored into a yellow series when the humidity is lower than a humidity setting value, and is discolored into a green series when the humidity is higher than a humidity setting value. |
