METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISCOVERING NEIGHBORING NODES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Provided are a method for discovering neighboring nodes in a wireless communication system and a control apparatus thereof. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring information about discovery requirements on the basis of application properties that a base station requires for each node during a search; classifying the discovery requirements by preset performance indicators; setting transmission parameters for each performance indicator; allocating resources for the search for each performance indicator; and broadcasting information on the set transmission parameters and the allocated resources so as to allow each node to search for neighboring nodes based on the broadcasted information.
