The present invention provides an apparatus for sensing touch/fingerprint which can perform touch sensing and fingerprint sensing with one operation integrated circuit and reduce time for sensing a fingerprint. According to the present invention, the apparatus for sensing touch/fingerprint includes: a touch screen having a plurality of touch sensors; and the operation integrated circuit which makes the touch sensors into a plurality of sensing groups and senses change of capacitance of the touch sensors. The operation integrated circuit can: sequentially provide touch operation signals in sensing group unit in a row direction to the touch sensors included in each sensing group in the row direction in a touch sensing mode; sequentially sense the change of capacitance of the touch sensors included in each sensing group in the sensing group unit in the row direction; simultaneously provide the touch operation signals to the touch sensor included in each sensing group in a fingerprint sensing mode; and simultaneously sense the change of capacitance of the touch sensors included in each sensing group. |
