The present invention relates to a separation plate for a fuel cell, comprising a polymer foam material having multiple pores; and a plating layer formed on the outer surface of the polymer foam material and the surface of the pores, and to a manufacturing method thereof. Provided in the present invention is the separation plate for a fuel cell comprising a polymer foam material having multiple pores; and a plating layer formed on the outer surface of the polymer foam material and the surface of the pores, having excellent mechanical properties while improving electric conductivity.
