FIELD: shipbuilding.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing robust connections for underwater vehicle shells. Joint comprises outer seal connecting mating shells, made without protruding outer parts, using elastic seal with clamp. On external surfaces of connected shells under seal there are made circular recesses with smooth lines with a depth not exceeding tenth part of thickness of connected shells including projections on clamp, shifted towards the surface of split shells by the value of elastic seal compression. Clamp tightly presses seal to external surfaces of connected shells, providing water impermeability of butt detachable connection during the whole time of staying at depth and lowering to depth and lifting.EFFECT: reliable securing of coupled shells of resistant housing against separation under surface and underwater positions without considerable reduction of strength of joint unit.1 cl, 1 dwg |
