The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a diamond multi-layer electro-deposition notch wheel where a heat treatment steel rod or a cemented carbide are shrink-fitted to a center portion to restrain bending and a notch wheel using the same. More preferably, a sapphire wafer edge polishing diamond multi-layer electro-deposition notch wheel used for processing a cover glass of a cell phone is manufactured by a composite electroplating method to enable a heat treatment steel rod or a cemented carbide to be shrink-fitted to a center portion of the notch wheel to minimize a bending defect to manufacture the diamond multi-layer electro-deposition notch wheel with improved mechanical properties.
