The present invention provides an audio type way guide system for blind people, capable of allowing the blind people to be effectively guided when entering a building or a subway. The audio type way guide system for blind people according to the present invention comprises: a database for storing braille block information formed in the building or the subway; a device for providing a way guide voice to blind people; and a server for providing the braille block information stored in the database to the device when the device enters the building or the subway. The device comprises: a photographing unit for photographing a floor; and a control unit for recognizing a braille block from images provided through the photographing unit and determining the information indicated by the recognized braille block. The control unit compares the braille block information transmitted from the server and the determined information, to determine the braille block information transmitted from the serve as final braille block information if the braille block information is identical to the determined information, and determine the information determined from the image provided through the photographing unit as final braille block information if the braille block information is not identical to the determined information. The device further comprises an audio guide unit for outputting a guide message corresponding to the final braille block information through a voice. Therefore, the blind people can be effectively guided when entering the building or the subway. |
