A functional unit (1) of a lamp of a dental installation includes an operational reflector-type light source (2) which is installed on a holder with the ability to change the spatial position of a reflector (3) and, correspondingly, of a main optical axis of the light source (2). In addition, the unit includes a base (4) for an auxiliary information device (5) having a video screen (6), said base having a supporting/securing means with a base surface (10) for installing the information device (5). The information device (5) may be carried out, for instance, in the form of a tablet computer. The supporting/securing means is spatially positioned on the base (4) in such a way that a functional surface (11) of the video screen (6) of the information device (5) is positioned above the light source (2), so as to achieve a parallel arrangement of the main optical axes (7, 8), correspondingly, of the light source (2) and the video screen (6). Wherein, a kinematic connection (9) of the base (2) and the light source (2) is achieved so as to allow for changing the spatial position of the video screen (6) synchronously with the reflector (3) of the light source (2) without changing the aforementioned mutual position of the main optical axes thereof, (8) and (7) correspondingly. The present invention additionally provides for a specific design realization a the base (4) for an information device (5). |
