In order to stably perform power transmission by friction between a drive roller (D) and a driven roller (S) and to reduce the size of the power transmission mechanism therefor, a power transmission roller is configured so as to include: a roller body (2) that contacts the drive roller (D) and the driven roller (S); an oscillating shaft (3) fixed to a vehicle body side; an oscillating arm (4) that is arranged on the inner diameter side of the roller body (2) and that is provided to the oscillating shaft (3) so as to oscillate freely; a roller bearing (5) that makes the roller body (2) rotate freely; and a pair of biasing members (6, 6) that is provided to the oscillating arm (4) and that biases the roller bearing (5) to a predetermined position between the drive roller (D) and the driven roller (S) such that the contact force against both rollers (D, S) is in balance. |
