PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrolyte membrane by which the deformation owing to swelling can be prevented; a membrane-electrode assembly; and a fuel battery.SOLUTION: An electrolyte membrane comprises a membrane main body 11 including at least a solid polymer membrane as a base material. The membrane main body 11 has a hydrophilic part 12 including an ion-exchange group having proton conductivity, and a hydrophobic part 13 formed by a hydrophobicity material. The hydrophilic part is formed to communicate from one surface of the membrane main body to the other surface, in which the concentration of the ion-exchange group is varied along a thickness direction of the membrane main body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
