PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control transmission to user equipment (UE) on the basis of a channel quality indicator (CQI).SOLUTION: A method comprises: maintaining multiple setpoints for multiple subframe types associated with different levels of interference; selecting a setpoint from among the multiple setpoints on the basis of a subframe in which to transmit data to UE; and transmitting the data to the UE in the subframe on the basis of the selected setpoint 716.
