The present invention relates to a method for controlling a compressed air system (1) of a motor vehicle, wherein a piston compressor (2) is driven by a motor (6) of the motor vehicle, the delivering state of the piston compressor (2) being controlled by a delivery control device (7) and the delivery control device (7) being actuated by a compressor control module (8). According to the invention, compressed air is generated in a compressed air reservoir (5) by the piston compressor (2) in a charging phase, wherein at least one measurement variable is measured by at least one sensor (11) and, thereafter, the at least one measurement variable is compared with an associated threshold value, and wherein the delivery rate of the compressed air is reduced by the control of the piston compressor (2) when the threshold value is exceeded or undershot. The invention further relates to a compressed air system (1) for carrying out the method and to a vehicle comprising such a compressed air system (1). |
