Provided is an electrical characteristic measuring device that further improves the accuracy of measurement of the electrical characteristics of a blood sample. The electrical characteristic measuring device is provided with the following: a measuring part for measuring the electrical characteristics of the blood sample; and an alert generation part that generates an alert signal when the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in the blood sample exceeds a predetermined reference rate during measurement of the blood sample.
