In a network system according to the present invention, in which a plurality of information processing devices are connected to each other via a network, each information processing device is provided with: an information dividing unit that divides user information into a plurality of information segments; a condition information acquisition unit that acquires condition information about the network system; and a storage destination determination unit that determines a plurality of storage destinations for storing the plurality of information segments in a distributed manner so as to accommodate changes in the acquired condition information. The storage destination determination unit determines the storage destinations on the basis of the network communication speed, the physical distance between the information processing devices, the authentication method used between the information processing devices, or the available space in the storage unit of each information processing device. Further, the information dividing unit divides the user information by predetermined data size or category into the plurality of information segments. |
