The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for the efficient recycling of a saccharification enzyme. Provided is a saccharification device for saccharification of a cellulose starting material, the device comprising: a mixing means for adding a cellulose starting material to a saccharified solution that contains free saccharification enzyme and that was obtained by enzymatic saccharification of a cellulose starting material; a recovery means for recovering the cellulose starting material from the saccharified solution to which the cellulose starting material was added by the mixing means; and a saccharification means for further obtaining a saccharified solution by enzymatic saccharification of the cellulose starting material recovered from the saccharified solution by the recovery means.
