The present invention is provided with: a scroll compression mechanism having a compression chamber formed between a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll (10) which face each other, and a thrust plate (12) supporting the thrust load of the orbiting scroll (10); and a back pressure supply mechanism (6) for supplying a portion of a compressed refrigerant gas as back pressure to the back side of the thrust plate (12); wherein the back pressure supply mechanism (6) is provided with a back pressure chamber (31) formed on a thrust face (30) facing the back side of the thrust plate (12), a back pressure supply passage (32) for supplying compressed refrigerant gas to the back pressure chamber (31), and an inner circumference sealing ring (33) and outer circumference sealing ring (34) provided on an inner circumference side and an outer circumference side of the back pressure chamber (31), the outer circumference sealing ring (34) being provided so as to be pressed between the inner circumferential face (37) of a housing (2a) and the outer circumferential face (12a) of the thrust plate (12).
