The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery having excellent irreversible characteristics and excellent lifespan characteristics. The lithium secondary battery comprises: a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material; a positive electrode; and an electrolyte including a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive. The negative electrode active material comprises a Si-based material, and the additive comprises lithium triflate and fluoroethylene carbonate.
