To improve brightness, a substrate for manufacturing a light emitting diode to form voids, a method of manufacturing the substrate and a light emitting diode using the substrate are disclosed. The substrate for manufacturing a light emitting diode according to the present invention is a substrate which has a surface with a plurality of uneven parts. The widths of the plurality of uneven parts gradually decrease to an upper part. The upper surface of the uneven part has a flat trapezoid shape. The aspect ratio of the concave part between the uneven parts is 0.25-3.00.
