METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE

The method involves performing simultaneous detection of vibration with which elliptical vibration of two winding heads (2) can be determined as a function of time. The ellipse and inclination of two phase positions of winding heads are determined. The critical operating states of the electric machine are determined, in which ellipse and the inclinations of the two phase positions of windings are equal. The electrical machine is operated such that the critical operating conditions are avoided by variation of reactive power of machine.
