The disclosure relates to seamlessly generating an in-call voice note. An embodiment of the disclosure conducts a call with a target wireless subscriber device, transmits, to the target wireless subscriber device, an indication to start recording a portion of the call, and transmits, to the target wireless subscriber device, an indication to stop recording the portion of the call.
