Provided is a tool for working thin glass plate, the tool having excellent accurate processing and durability. The tool includes: a metal bonding grinding stone (16) formed on the tip of the tool main body where a plurality of grinding grains are bonded in a chip form by metal bonding and used only when making a hole; and an electrodepositing stone (18) formed on a neck (20) of the side periphery of the tool main body where a plurality of grinding grains are electrodeposited and used only during a chamfering process, whereby two types of grinding stone, the metal bonding and the electrodepositing, having different characteristics are used when making a hole and a chamfering process respectively, in order to improve an accurate process regarding to the process of making a hole (36) for a cover glass (34) and to extend service life of the tool. |
