<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide near-infrared ray absorption particles having a high transmittance in a visible light region and a low transmittance in a near-infrared ray region, whose transmittance changes steeply in the range of the wavelength of 630-700 nm, and to provide a method for producing the same, a dispersion and a resin composition containing the near-infrared ray absorption particles. <P>SOLUTION: In this near-infrared ray absorption particle comprising a crystallite of A<SB POS="POST">1/n</SB>CuPO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, the size of the crystallite is 5-50 nm, and a number average aggregated particle size is 20-200 nm, and a reflectance at the wavelength of 450 nm in a diffuse reflection spectrum is ≥80%, wherein A is one kind or more selected from a group comprising an alkali metal (Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs), an alkaline earth metal (Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba) and NH<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, and n is 1 in the case where A is an alkali metal or NH4, and n is 2 in the case where A is an alkaline earth metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
