Disclosed are an electronic payment method using an electronic card and an apparatus thereof. A method for enabling a payment card connecting apparatus to manage an electronic card comprises: a card management process for receiving payment means information from a card issuing apparatus and for generating encryption payment information by encrypting the payment means information by using an authentication key and a card control process for synchronizing the electronic card with the encryption payment information by using a low-power near-field communication module.
