In the indoor unit of an air conditioner (100), refrigerant is determined to have pooled at the bottom of a casing (11) if a detected value (T4) from a fourth temperature sensor (54) is less than a threshold (Ta), and if T4<Ta even after a prescribed period of time (ta) has elapsed since T4 became less than Ta. Thus, it is possible to decide whether refrigerant has leaked on the basis of the detection value from the fourth temperature sensor (54) without requiring an expensive gas-detection sensor. |
