PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of further effectively performing various kinds of control when continuous shooting is synchronously performed by two or more imaging apparatuses.SOLUTION: A pulse generation circuit 47 generates an external output vertical synchronous signal having a specific phase difference against an internal vertical synchronous signal for instructing continuous shooting timing with a fixed period, which is generated by a counter unit 44. An output circuit 48 outputs the external output vertical synchronous signal generated by the pulse generation circuit 47 to the outside. A synchronizing circuit 49 receives input of an external output vertical synchronous signal outputted from another imaging apparatus 1 as an external input vertical synchronous signal. A phase difference counter 51 detects a phase difference between the external input vertical synchronous signal received by the synchronizing circuit 49 and the internal vertical synchronous signal generated by the counter unit 44. An adjustment unit 85 adjusts a phase difference generated when the pulse generation circuit 47 generates the external output vertical synchronous signal on the basis of the phase difference detected by the phase difference counter 51. |
