Preparation of a coating materials (A) comprises reacting one or more organic molecules and oligomer or polymer having at least a functional group with one or more silane having at least a functional organic group and at least a organic side chain under formation of a covalent bond between the organic molecule, oligomer or polymer and the silane, so that a higher molecular silane results, which is directly hardened by a catalyst.
