The present invention relates to an anchor chain locker for a ship. The anchor chain locker for a ship has a buffer unit which prevents damage to an anchor chain due to a collision with an inner wall as the anchor chain connected to an anchor is drawn out when the anchor is drawn to anchor a ship. The anchor chain locker receives the anchor chain connected to the anchor installed in the ship in an inner space part thereof and has the buffer unit which is installed to protrude inward from the inner wall of the anchor chain locker and prevents the anchor chain received in the inner space part from colliding with the inner wall when the anchor chain is drawn out.
