PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inhibition of wireless communication and also improve installation operation performance of a communication adapter when installing the communication adapter to an indoor unit.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner is structured so that a communication adapter storage part for storing a communication adapter that wirelessly communicates with external devices is located at the front surface part of an indoor unit body to be opened or closed with the decorative panel and in front of the heat exchanger, and is disposed at the center part in the longitudinal direction and the horizontal direction of the indoor unit body when viewed from the front.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
