PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance and a method for measuring a position of foam in a foam leveling instrument, and a foam leveling instrument comprising the appliance.SOLUTION: A foam leveling instrument comprises a cylindrical sealed housing. The sealed housing is partly filled with a liquid and includes foam. The appliance comprises: at least two light-emitting devices, in which light emitted from the respective light-emitting devices illuminates an inside bottom face of the foam leveling instrument and foam; and at least two reception devices, in which the respective reception devices receive light which is reflected by the inside bottom face of the foam leveling instrument and reflected and deflected by the foam, then convert the light into an electric signal, the electric signal is processed for calculating the position of the foam. The respective at least two light-emitting devices and at least two reception devices are alternately arranged on a peripheral edge of the cylindrical sealed housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
