The present invention relates to a device and a method for displaying blind spot information for a commercial vehicle. More specifically, the device for displaying blind spot information for a commercial vehicle comprises: a radar unit to detect at least one among a location, a speed, and acceleration of a target vehicle around a commercial vehicle; a control unit to analyze information detected by the radar unit and control the device; and a display unit to display the analyzed information. The control unit defines a plurality of detection areas according to at least one among a location and a bearing in a blind spot range, determines risks for the detection areas, and generates location information about an area among the detection areas in which the target vehicle detected by the radar unit is located. The display unit displays the location information, and changes a display method according to the risk of the area in which the target vehicle is located. The detection areas and the risks are defined and used as display information to alert a driver in steps. |
