PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold capable of certainly avoiding a combustion failure in all cylinders.SOLUTION: An intake manifold 7 of a diesel engine 1 (an engine) is equipped with two kinds of intake ports of a directional port 12 and a helical port 13 corresponding to each cylinder 8. The helical port 13 expands a width dimension W so as to make a swirl ratio of the cylinder 8 in which the helical port 13 is positioned on the outermost side in an aligning direction of the cylinders 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
