PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated warehouse which can supply an article required from a preceding process to the preceding process without excess and deficiency at proper timing.SOLUTION: An automated warehouse which stores a variety of articles W from a succeeding process, and delivers the articles W to a preceding process comprises: pallets 2 for placing the articles W thereon in a plurality of pieces and at a plurality of stages; a plurality of entrances and exits 7, 16 for storing and delivering the articles W which are placed on the pallets 2; and a plurality of payout openings 12 for paying out the stored article W to the preceding process; and IC tags 25 which are attached to the pallets 2, and can read and write article information such as pallet data related to the placed articles W. The automated warehouse collates production schedule data and pallet data in the preceding process at delivery, and delivers only the pallets 2 in which the production scheduling data and the pallet data coincide with each other from the paying openings 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
