A continuously working oil separator contains body, branch pipe for admission of liquid to be purified, unloading pipelines for discharge of separated oil and purified water. Inside the body disposed is coaxially the overflow cylinder, the upper part of which is made in the form of truncated cone, turned with smaller basis downward, with an angle of taper of 30-35 DEGREE , and the branch pipe for admission of purified liquid is disposed tangentially.
