PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a dissimilar material joined body that makes it possible to easily and efficiently deposit an FRTP member on a metal member, and also satisfactorily enhance insulation properties between both members so as to maintain sufficient bond strength over a long term; and a method for manufacturing the dissimilar material joined body.SOLUTION: A dissimilar material joined body 10 is obtainable by joining a first member 12 composed of metal and a second member 14 composed of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin with an insulating member 16 interposed therebetween. The insulating member 16 is composed of a thermoplastic resin and is deposited on a surface 12a of the first member 12. The dissimilar material joined body 10 has a waterproof material 18 covering at least an end portion of an overlapping part 20 made up of the first member 12, the insulating member 16, and the second member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
