PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid spray device and a liquid spray method that can suppress detachment of nozzle plates and dispersion in service life of the nozzle plates and spray liquid stably.SOLUTION: The liquid spray device, which is provided with a liquid spray head that sprays liquid through nozzle openings of a first nozzle plate adhered with a first adhesive and nozzle openings of a second nozzle plate adhered with a second adhesive and control means that sprays the liquid through the nozzle openings, controls the liquid spray head so that a first layer formed of the liquid sprayed through the nozzle openings of the first nozzle plate overlaps, on a medium to be sprayed, with a second layer formed of the liquid sprayed through the nozzle openings of the second nozzle plate and a ratio of the number of the nozzle openings through which the liquid is sprayed simultaneously to the number of the nozzle openings of the first nozzle plate is larger than a ratio of the number of the nozzle openings through which the liquid is sprayed simultaneously to the number of the nozzle openings of the second nozzle plate, where a glass-transition temperature of the first adhesive is lower than a head working temperature and a glass-transition temperature of the second adhesive is higher than the head working temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
