PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilled roll capable of suppressing the occurrence of a thermal crown in temperature rise use of a roll, and a roll press device.SOLUTION: The arrangement of a heat medium flow passage is devised to eliminate a low-temperature area of an inner side of a roll end part causing a thermal crown. Specifically, for example, in a drilled roll having: many heat medium circulation passages provided in the vicinity of the surface of a roll shell part so as to extend in an axial direction; a center hole provided so as to extend along a roll center axis; and an oblique hole connecting one end of the heat medium circulation passage and the center hole, the oblique hole is connected to the center hole so that the oblique hole is arranged over an extension line in the radial direction of an end surface position of the roll shell part. |
