PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container excellent in impact resistance and having a large liquid injection amount, and to provide a method for production of a cartridge comprising such a liquid container.SOLUTION: A cartridge 10 housing a flexible liquid container 30 in a case 20 has a dimension L2 in the direction from the front end 30A toward the rear end 30B of the liquid housing space R2 in the liquid container 30 longer than the dimension L1 in the longitudinal direction Y of the container (the insertion direction A in which the container 30 is inserted). When producing the cartridge 10, an empty liquid container 30 is inserted in the case 20 from the rear end 30B. At that time, the rear end 30B of the container 30 deforms in a curved shape, and in such a state, an ink is injected in the container 30 and is filled in the liquid housing space R2.
