PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive/hold a can article carried out through a chute in the center of a guiding/heating coil, to suppress heating unevenness and to uniformly guide/ heat the can article. SOLUTION: In a can article guiding/heating device, a roller-type rotation driving mechanism 5 is combined to a leading/heating coil 4 receiving a can article 3 carried out through a chute 2 in an inverted attitude. Guide units 9 arranged by distributing them to the right/left of the coil so that they push can articles from right/left are installed as article holding guides added and installed to hold the can articles (short cans S and long cans L) transferred on the guiding/heating coil through the chute in right/left symmetrical positions against the center O of the guiding/heating coil in the longitudinal direction. Two flappers 9a and 9b obtained by hinge-connecting the tips of the guide units and combining them in an angle form, sliders 9c and 9d which support/hold the flappers and which can vertically move and an energizing spring 9e pushing the tips of the flappers to the end face of the can article are combined and constituted.
