PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an audit log at the time of occurrence of an abnormality, allow a user to use a device while maintaining the state where an audit can be performed, and continue recording an audit log at the time.SOLUTION: A log collection unit 303 of an MPF 101 collects function logs 302 recorded according to each executed function and stores them as audit logs 306 and, if the number of stored audit logs exceeds an upper limit number, deletes any of the audit logs. When an abnormality that interferes with the collection of logs occurs, the log collection unit 303 compresses the stored audit logs and separately stores them as logs at the time of occurrence of an abnormality 702, so as to eliminate the abnormality and lower the upper limit number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
