PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluophor having a novel crystal structure and light-emitting green color excellent in temperature properties.SOLUTION: There is provided a fluophor consisting of an inorganic compound having a composition containing an M element, an A element, a D element, an E element, and an X element, where M is an element of Mn, Ce, Eu or the like, A is a bivalent metal element essentially containing Ba, D is tetravalent metal element, E is a trivalent metal element and X is an element selected from O, N and F, having peaks in zones 1 to 6 in a powder X-ray diffraction pattern of CuKα ray (1.5418Å), absorbing excitation light of 350 to 450 nm and light-emitting fluorescent light having peaks in wavelength of 480 to 550. Zone 1:12.87°≤2&thetas;≤13.68°, Zone 2:20.32°≤2&thetas;≤21.60°, Zone 3:22.30°≤2&thetas;≤23.71°, Zone 4:24.57°≤2&thetas;≤26.12°, Zone 5:25.90°≤2&thetas;≤27.55°, and Zone 6:32.56°≤2&thetas;≤34.64°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
