PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, such as a lithium ion secondary battery, which has good cycle characteristics, and in which the occurrence of liquid depletion is suppressed, and the capacity worsening is suppressed.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided according to the present invention comprises: positive and negative electrodes, each including a collector and a mixture layer on the collector; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the positive electrode mixture layer has two layers in a thickness direction. Of the two layers, an upper layer far from the positive electrode collector includes a positive electrode active material and a first conductive material, whereas a lower layer closer to the positive electrode collector includes not the positive electrode active material, but a second conductive material. The second conductive material is larger than the first conductive material in DBP oil absorption; the content of the second conductive material is 0.5-2 wt% to a total solid content of the positive electrode mixture layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3(b) |
