PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of acquiring an image of good image quality, regardless of the frame rate, when performing pixel mixture in the vertical direction (column direction) depending on a plurality of kinds of frame rate.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes an imaging element having a plurality of pixels arranged two-dimensionally in the row direction and column direction, column output lines for reading the pixels in the column direction, and connections for electrically connecting an arbitrary number of rows, out of the plurality of pixels, with the column output lines, and a control unit having a first mode for reading a signal collecting the signals of rows in the first row interval from the plurality of pixels at the first row interval, and a second mode for reading a signal collecting the signals of rows in the second row interval at a second row interval different from the first row interval, and controlling the connection so that the same number of rows are connected simultaneously for the column output lines, in the first mode and second mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
